Make Sure You’re Up to Code

You probably don’t want to think about building codes when dreaming about your new deck, but nevertheless they need to be considered. For instance, railings are typically required to be at least 36 inches high, and be at least 30 inches off the ground. Unless you’re an experienced contractor yourself, you’re probably not very experienced with building codes, so be sure to get in touch with a professional Maryland construction company before you start building anything.
