How Much Experience Do You Have?

Deck builders who stand behind their work will offer a comprehensive warranty. So before you hire a deck builder, be sure to ask about the specifics of their warranty, such as what’s covered and how long the warranty lasts. 

Are You Licensed and Insured?

Any deck builder you hire should be licensed and insured. If you ask this question and you don’t get a clear “yes”, it’s probably best to look for a different builder. Your deck builder should be able to produce an insurance certificate, business license, and a Work Safe BC credential at any given time.
